In only a few visits you can begin enjoying the healthful sleep you deserve!
Step 1 - Self Assessment
If you suspect that you may have obstructive sleep apnea and want to make a personal assessment, click on Take the QUIZ. If you answer yes to multiple questions, you should call Dr. Kitzmiller’s office to speak to a member of our team about your score and your options.
The diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnea is made by a sleep specialist at an overnight sleep study called a polysomnogram(PSG). Dr. Kitzmiller works with all of the local sleep labs and will be happy to process a personal referral to the lab to schedule your sleep study.
Step 2 - Medical Insurance Verification
Dr. Kitzmiller and his team manage the medical insurance processing as part of your treatment experience with our office. Prior to initiating any treatment, we will contact your medical insurance to verify benefits and identify documentation needed to effectively process your claims. We will also personalize a financial arrangement for you to cover your patient portion that makes treatment financing convenient for you.
Step 3 - Schedule your Treatment Visits
Through a series of prescheduled office visits we will manage the treatment of your Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Your fee includes all of the following:
- Two initial office visits to assess the health of the teeth and mouth and evaluate your medical and sleep factors for sleep apnea. We will also review your sleep study and diagnosis. Impressions, xrays and measurements are taken for the fabrication of your oral appliance.
- Delivery of your appliance, including hands on instruction in the wearing, advancement and care.
- Follow up assessment office visits and home monitoring after delivery of your appliance to quantify your treatment results.
